A handsome flower: it's time for Song Joong Ki!!!

The first time I saw Song Joong Ki was on "Running Man", after watching all the episodes with the 7 fixed members that were available I started looking for old ones, and that's how we meet. This was like 2 years ago, so he was on his mandatory military service and I was desperate to see more of him. The first acting project that he appeared on that I saw was Werewolf Boy, which I loved every minute, he did a great interpretation for a character that barely speaks and that is a great accomplishment for any actor. Then I saw Penny Pinchers, it was so different from the other movie that I saw and a great way to see his different shades as an actor. When I saw a glimpse of him on an episode of "Running Man" after he finished his mandatory enlistment I almost die, "how a guy can become more handsome with time?!!", my heart dropped and I started to crave more of his work. I watched "The Innocent Man" (and fall totally on my face for Kang Maru!!!), his character was not a bad person, he had to pass for a lot of hardships on his life which lead him on not so good decisions. After that it was announced that he was going to make his drama comeback, the greatest news that I ever received, and with an actress that I knew was going make the project a success. The drama was first filmed on a foreign country and later post produced. And then, after a year, the day came and the World had all their eyes on Song Joong Ki and the hottest drama of all times, "Descendants of the Sun".

I am one of those people that when they saw an artist, it could be actor or singer, they start to obsess about their life. When I started to watch his projects I also started to look around the Internet for more information about his life. That is when I learned that he started his acting career taking small roles, but very noticeable ones. A pure example of this is his role on the drama "Triple", alongside Min Hyorin, Lee Jung Jae, and Lee Ha Na, he portrayed a speed track skater on the Korean National Team that had a crush on a rookie figure skater. Let me tell you, I watched the drama just for him, and I don’t regret ever watching it. After that he was on the drama "Will It Snow for Christmas?", and "Obstetrics and Gynecology Doctors", in both dramas he played supporting roles. It was on the period drama, "Sungkyunkwan Scandal", that he got his first lead role. Portraying a playboy that was loyal to his beliefs and friends, this was the role that helped Joong Ki get to stardom, along with the other cast members. For this drama he won Popularity Award and Best Couple with Yoo Ah-in on the KBS Drama Awards, his chemistry with the on screen friend went beyond cameras, for what Yoo Ah-in appeared on a cameo in the drama "Descendants of the Sun" supporting his close friend.

Above everything regarding Joong Ki, is his friendship with actor Lee Kwang Soo that always makes me so happy.  The two young actors started their friendship while filming "Running Man" on 2010, since they are the same age, which made an instant link between them. It is well known around the media how close their friendship is, being Kwang Soo the only celebrity that has visited Joong Ki's parents. On an interviewed after the discharge of Joong Ki from the military reporters asked which girl group gave him strength during his service (something that is usual while serving on the military), but his response was that the one that gave him strength was his friend Lee Kwang Soo (isn't that soooooo sweet!!!). The two actors also shared the screen on the drama "The Innocent Man", were they played best friends, something not far from reality. Kwang Soo also made a cameo on the first episode of "Descendants of the Sun". Another great friendship that the actor has is with actor Jo In Sung, this friendship was developed while filming the movie "A Frozen Flower", in which fellow "Running Man" member Song Ji Hyo was also in it. In this film the actor Lim Joo Hwan also was cast, and now the three are close friends. After Joong Ki was discharged from his military service he went on a trip to Thailand with his three friends (Kwang Soo, In Sung, and Joo Hwan), and on their return they made a surprise appearance for a few minutes on a "Running Man" episode. The fellow label mate, Park Bo Gum, also is a close friend of Joong Ki. They have stated that they like to monitor their projects and gave feedback. Kwang Soo and Bo Gum made a special appearance on one of Joong Ki's fan meetings, giving prove of how close they are. And I can't leave out the "Running Man" member Kim Jong Kook, like Kwang Soo, they started their friendship while filming the variety show. For this reason it was not hard for Joong Ki to accept his "hyung" request to appear on one of his music videos and on one of Turbo's concert.

Now I would provide you some basic information about him. This facts are important for every fan girl out there, so please take notes.
